Through our project-based training, you will be equipped with lean six-sigma tools and techniques aimed at helping you successfully run a lean six-sigma project at green belt level. 

We cover the DMAIC framework in detail as follows:

DEFINE PHASE

Goal: Define and scope the project

• Overview of Lean Six Sigma

• Voice of the customer

• Critical to X(Requirements)

• Project Charter

MEASURE PHASE

Goal: Evaluate current process performance

• Introduction to statistics with Minitab

• Measurement system analysis

• Stability and Capability Analysis

• Lean concepts: Cycle Time, Lead Time, Takt Time, etc

ANALYSE PHASE

Goal: Develop the Y = f(X) relationship

• Waste analysis (DOWNTIME)

• Root Analysis (RCA)

• Root Cause Prioritization

• Hypothesis testing: 2-sample t, 2 proportions, ANOVA, Chi-square

• Root Cause validation

• Correlation and linear regression

IMPROVE PHASE

Goal: Implement proposed solutions

• Lean solutions: 5S, standardization, Poka Yoke, SMED and Load leveling

• Full factorial design of Experiments (DOE)

• Action plan

• Improvement validation

CONTROL PHASE

Goal: Implement a control strategy.

• Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)

• Control Plan

• Control charts

• Transfer to process owner

• Project closure
